look. I'm just as happy as the next guy to go on an anti-Christmas bender, but i have laundry to do, bills to pay, and family to avoid. The easiest thing to do is to say i'm happy it's all over with. I mean there are good things and bad things about Christmas this year. The good is seeing my son's eyes light up when he gets a present he really wants before he's jaded by expectations.
This whole culture that prides itself in being so christian and supports these useless holidays is a void, a soul-sucking void that produces matierialism that sucks the life out of all of us. And the daily bible verse, aww hell, let's just identify directly with jesus himself, walk hand in hand and pat little baby jesus on the head.
I'm happy to say i've made it through the holidays unscathed.
